I was wondering if anyone had any news or updates on some old poker friends -- people who had been around some of the same forums some of us had been involved with (K9, OPT, etc).

Particularly, I was wondering whatever happened to:

shaggytrav (K9 founder)
SeaWeed (from OPT)
5thStreetBully (OPT,K9)
scottdrader (OPT, hammershangout)

If you know anything, please reply.

Thought had crossed my mind as well. I know Seaweed was hanging out on You Tube but she has not logged in for about eight months. The others I have not heard a peep from. Was also wondering about Plaid Banana.

I've run into both Shaggy and Scottdrader on Facebook. They both seem to be doing well. It appears that shaggy has given poker a back seat and is concentrating on his love of Georgia Bull Dogs

Truth is, my darling, I've been without a working computer for over a year, I think.

Last month, I got another one. That died. lol I'd bought it from a nephew so he
made good and gave me his laptop. This seems to be doing really well for me but

hi all sorry i havent been arround as some of you know i had a heart attack a year ago and took some time off to recover from that then i thought i would start up the hammers thing with all the stress from that trying to please everyone their from getting games wich i dident mind that but the fighting from players and orther forums not wanting certin people in my forum and almost lost a few good friends from that mess i started getting panic attacks and getting sick again so i gave it up

now the good news ive slowly been getting back into the poker thing playing ring and tourneys on my own on a few poker sites just to get the feeling back i will be playing a lot more after the new year getting back into the forum games that i really miss and talking to all of you guys

as far as shaggy goes he has pretty well given up on poker he lost so much with the dream thing and changeing k9's forum alltogeather he is just going back to his main love the georgia bull dawgs lol

bully with all the poker crap going on with governments and the poker sites closeing down he lost a lot of money [the same as all of us] and all the fighting between a couple of forums he just left alltogeather i miss him two

Thanks for updates on the other guys, the online game isn't quite what we used to have If I do win some "toothpicks" I have to figure out which one of my 23 pymt services is still in business or accepted at that site
At moment we just have a buy-in game every Friday that we rotate between three sites, in 2009 we see what else unfolds.
