I don't personally play in any home games, my live action centers around the casinos in Atlantic City and occasionally Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. I will occasionally post on the games that I play here in this section. I know that New York has underground games all over the place Shocked Laughing but I am strictly a "Casino Cat" Cool
I am curious where other people go to get there fix for splashing the chips and looking the other players in the eye. I think my favorite thing about live poker is that they have people bring you alcohol for free (well only free if you don't tip Laughing ) actually I like pushing "all-in", I have like six different methods I use Laughing

Hey Murry,

I have only seen Foxwoods on TV. Looks really nice, and the way Sexton talks about it, it might be pretty close to poker heaven.

I am on the other side of the country. I end up at Ocean's Eleven (a California Cardroom) or one of the Indian Casinos, such as Suycan or Pechanga (both have very nice poker rooms).

I did get a chance to play at the Hollywood Park Casino (L.A.) way back when I first started playing after winning my way onto the televised UltimateBet Challenge. Phil Helmuth was doing commentary and said I was the player at the final table making the best decisions...not quite sure how to take that.

Vegas is only about 5 1/2 hours away, but since I started playing a bit over 3 years ago, have not had a chance to mini-vacation there. Now that I have said that I have an overwhelming urge to correct that!

Howdy,
There really is nothing like the sound of splashing chips on the felt. We play in a home game once a month with our local poker club. There are anywhere from 30 to 50 people at any given time. Tourny style play, pays top 3 spots.
Great bunch of people, all shapes. sizes, and genders. It's a $20 buy-in, with one rebuy. Been playing with this group about a year now. We have sooooo much fun & manage to win some monies along the way. cherry
But the looks on the faces of the men the first time I played with this group was priceless Shocked , made the final table & took down a few people along the way. From that day on when ever I'm at the table with them I get a lot of moans & groans, for some reason they don't want to play at the same table with me anymore, oops, scratch .
