I played in the ladies only tourny today on carbon. It was a small buy-in, $2.20 I think. And I hate to say this but....I've never seen so many female donks as I see in these tournys. I guess I get spoiled playing in the ladyz forum & playing with ya'll. And with rebuys things can get pretty silly or mabe sad is a better word.
But I hung in there, trying not to lose my temper too much with some of the calls & suck outs. To make a long story short I'll just tell you I made the final table, yeehaw . I had vision of finally winning that PINK ribbon. It really is the best ribbon out there, lol, . For every person that went out my prize money increased & so did my odds of winning that ribbon, lol.
Well it finally got down to the final two & I was one of them, . A pink ribbon for christmas is all I could think, I'd even forgot how much money was at stake, . We traded the lead back & forth for a while but it finally came down to an All- IN play, as these things often do.
I raised with my A 10 spades, twice the blinds. She called. The flop was 3s 10d 7s, a great flop for me top pair & four to the flush. Sweet the ribbons mine, I thought, but I didn't want to get too cocky so I bet half the pot. She came over the top of me & went all in, grrr, .
Mabe I should'nt have but I called. But I did, after all I had OUTS! We turned over our cards & to my relief she had A 3 os, sweet the ribbons mine , how can I possibly lose .
Then came the rest of the flop, . No spades on the turn, but another small card. I'm holding my breathe, ready to jump for joy, yeehaw finally my pink ribbon, .
Then came the river....another 3 & it wasn't a spade, . Dammit she hit her trip 3's & the tourny's over, . She took me out with ACE RAG, SICK! I must admit I cussed like a sailor, . ACE RAG! I got beat with ACE RAG! Some donk with ACE RAG took my pink ribbon, . Sick!
I did win $80 and that is nice of course & a good return for my buy in of $2.20. But come on ACE RAG! What's a girl to do, geeze.

It's possible (I guess) that she didn't believe you and was trying to outbluff you...but still...33???
